Overview
The S.M.S.L PA400 is a Hi-Fi stereo power amplifier built with Infineon's latest GaN FET, featuring a switching frequency of up to 1MHz for more delicate full-band sound. TI's advanced PGA2311 volume chip provides multi-step volume control with ultra-low distortion, and a large number of audio-grade components are used to enhance the subjective listening experience.
In stereo mode, the PA400 delivers 250W×2 at 4Ω and 200W×2 at 8Ω, with both RCA and balanced XLR inputs. A stereo pure amplifier pass-through mode allows use with a pre-amplifier for a more direct and pure sound. In XLR input mono mode, two units can form a stereo system with power increased by 4 times, easily driving high-power tolerant speakers (500W×1 at 8Ω per unit in mono).
The PA400 features high-quality gold-plated input and output sockets, complete overheating, overcurrent, and other protection circuits, and a display screen with function knob for control. At 254×47.7×242mm and 2.58kg / 5.69lbs, the PA400 is built for hi-fi stereo setups.
